You just bought a wig (I hope one at Kawawig) and you are excited! You try it on and...What? It has a long bang and you can barely see anything. But no worries! Most wigs do this so you can cut it and adapt it to your face, and sometimes they also do it for the general length.
Many of us aren't hairdressers so it's a little complicated to cut bangs or anything else (I mean we all had the bangs phase, right?). So here are some tips for you, if you are an amateur like me or if you want a quick refresh ♡

➊ Try It On
If you are going to be using the wig, the best thing you can do it's put it on. This way it's going to be easier to see what are you looking to achieve.
Grab some bobby pins and use them to define where is that you are going to cut.
➋ Prepare Your Wig
Find a place where you can rest the wig. Usually, foam wig heads are going to be the best choice since it's easy to find one that would meet your budget. Pin the hair with several t-pins so it stays in place and doesn't move during the styling.
➌ Brush
Brush your wig. Always in a gentle motion. Brush the front part forward. Decide if you are going to use a thicker or a thinner style for your bangs.
Try to cut them a little longer than you marked (an inch or two), this is just in case you need to style it again. And think about the style you want to achieve with this, Are you going for a puffy style or a straight one? So you know how many inches extra you will need.
Grab a small section of the hair and cut upward with your fingers, make sure you move the scissors up and down while cutting, you can also use a razor and pull it across so you can achieve a feathered more natural look.
Brush the wig again. See if you missed any hair. And you can either use the scissor vertically or a razor to cut the edge and make it more feathered as a final touch.
